Performing Arts - Body in Motion

The Performing Arts Photography takes in Pit Buehlers occupy a special position. Here, the stage itself becomes a resonance chamber, in which movement, body and expression appear iconically condensed. The photographs were created in collaboration with world-famous institutions such as the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow, the National Ballet of Ukraine in Kiev, the Leningrad Center in St. Petersburg and the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre in Minsk. Performing Arts Photography thus fits seamlessly into the central theme of the work: the ephemeral becomes timeless, the individual becomes symbolic.
